 APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN COMMENDS CREDIBLE PRIMARIES AS PARTY NOMINATES SOLUDO FOR ANAMBRA GUBER POLL Abuja, Nigeria — The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has hailed the party’s gubernatorial primary election held today in Awka, Anambra State, as a landmark in APGA’s democratic journey and a model of internal party discipline and transparency. The primary, which took place at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, was conducted under a peaceful and well-organized atmosphere with 3,175 accredited delegates from across the 326 wards of the state. At the conclusion of voting, 3,172 valid votes were cast in favour of the incumbent Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, who emerged as the party’s flagbearer for the forthcoming November 2025 Anambra governorship election.
