APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN CHAIRMAN, BARR. EZEOKENWA CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY AT ST. MARY'S HOME FOR ORPHANS AND DESTITUTES, GWAGWALADA ABUJA.

Gwagwalada, Abuja - In a deeply touching and compassionate gesture, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, today, celebrated his birthday at St. Mary's Home for Orphans and Destitutes in Gwagwalada, Abuja. This moving celebration bore witness to love, empathy, and emotional connection.
Ezeokenwa, accompanied by his wife, family, and friends, as well as other dignitaries including the two-time House of Representatives member, Hon. Chidozie Ferdinand Nwankwo, members of the APGA NWC (the National Organizing Secretary, Ifeanyi Mbaeri Esq, and the National Youth Leader, Comr. Eze Onyebuchi Chukwu), the FCT APGA Chairman, Hon Sunday Oguche, and the FCT legal adviser, Barr. Ifeoma, spent precious moments with the children and residents of the home, sharing not only material gifts but also heartfelt messages of hope and kindness.
The birthday celebration commenced with a holy mass of thanksgiving presided over by Rev Fr. Franklin Okafor, Superior General of the Holy Family Fathers and Brothers of the Youth. In his homily, Fr. Okafor thanked God for the life of Barr Ezeokenwa, noting that he has done the most that pleases God by being with the needy and the orphans, which has become characteristic of him.
In the midst of the joyous occasion, Rev Sr. Innocencia Emenogu, Head of St. Mary's Home for Orphans and Destitutes, Gwagwalada, Abuja, expressed gratitude to Barr. Ezeokenwa for choosing to celebrate his birthday with destitutes and orphans, whom Barr Ezeokenwa has adopted as his family.
The high point of the celebration was seeing the children of St. Mary's Home for Orphans and Destitutes, Gwagwalada, praying and offering supplications for Barr Ezeokenwa, who knelt before them. This touching scene drew parallels to a shepherd amongst his flock, evoking the image of a caring guardian amidst those in need.
The APGA National Chairman thanked St. Mary's Home for Orphans and Destitutes in Gwagwalada, Abuja, for their warm welcome. He expressed appreciation for the center's impactful work in the community and pledged to make routine visits, as the center has become a family to him.
