 APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN CONGRATULATES HON. WAIKUMO AMAKOROMO ON RERUN VICTORY IN YENAGOA CONSTITUENCY 2

[Abuja] - The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr Sly Ezeokenwa, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Waikumo Amakoromo, the Deputy Minority Leader of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, on his victory in the recent rerun election for Yenagoa Constituency 2 of Bayelsa State.


The election, which took place on February 3, 2024, came as a result of a legal challenge by the PDP candidate, Eboiwou Koku Obiyal, following the initial victory of the APGA candidate, Warikumo Amakoromo, in the election held on November 11, 2023.


In his statement, Ezeokenwa expressed his admiration for the resilience and commitment demonstrated by Hon. Waikumo Amakoromo throughout the electoral process. He commended the unwavering support of the constituents and the party faithfuls, emphasizing the importance of upholding the democratic process and the rule of law.


This victory stands as a testament to the strength of APGA's vision and the trust reposed in Hon. Waikumo Amakoromo by the people of Yenagoa Constituency 2. Ezeokenwa looks forward to continued collaboration and progress in fulfilling the mandate entrusted to Hon. Waikumo Amakoromo by the electorate.


Barr. Ezeokenwa expressed hope for Amokoromo's fruitful tenure, marked by progressive governance and development for the benefit of the constituents and the entire Bayelsa State.
