 EZEOKENWA MOURNS THE PASSING OF RT. HON. ANAYO NEBE.

Awka, Anambra– In the soothing serenity of the Nebe family residence, the atmosphere was marked by both sorrow and reverence as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, visited to offer his condolences on the passing of Rt. Hon. Anayo Nebe (Icheledikeora Awka).


Referring to it as not only a loss to the party but also a personal bereavement, Barr. Ezeokenwa, accompanied by his amiable wife, Mrs. Amara Ezeokenwa, and his Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Soludo, Chief Sir Ugochukwu Obiefuna, and Member Representing Ihiala Federal Constituency, Hon. Pascal Agbodike, and members of his entourage, imparted heartfelt words of comfort and solidarity to the grieving family. The late Hon. Anayo Nebe, a former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, a former member of the House of Representatives for Awka North/South Federal Constituency, and most recently, a Special Adviser to Governor CC Soludo CFR, on legislative matters, was a strong APGA stakeholder.


The APGA National Chairman reminisced that the late Nebe's legacy was one that bore the hallmarks of an astute lawmaker and vibrant politician, whose influence invariably precipitated positive transformations. The Chairman shed light on the late Nebe's unwavering dedication and his pivotal role in fortifying the foundations of governance and democracy within Anambra State and beyond.

While consoling Mrs. Nebe amid this difficult time, he extended his deepest sympathies to the immediate family and, by extension, to the communities of Awka and the entirety of Anambra State. Ezeokenwa reaffirmed the party's commitment to honoring the late Nebe's memory by upholding the values of service and unity he so passionately championed.


The visit, marked with poise and the sharing of fond memories, saw Ezeokenwa received warmly by the late Honorable's wife, reflecting the respect and admiration the Nebe family holds for the National Chairman.


Barr. Ezeokenwa vowed to stand with the Nebe family through this period of mourning and beyond, ensuring that the late Rt. Hon. Anayo Nebe's remarkable legacy continues to guide the path of progress for the people of Anambra.
