 APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, BARR. EZEOKENWA PAYS TRIBUTE TO ANAMBRA FORMER SPEAKER, RT HON. NNEBE AS THE STATE ASSEMBLY HOLDS VALEDICTORY SESSION

Awka, Anambra – Within the dignified and soothing serenity of the Anambra State House of Assembly chamber, a solemn atmosphere prevailed, touched by a blend of sorrow and deep respect. The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, expressed profound grief over the loss of a distinguished APGA champion and devoted member, Rt Hon. Anayo Nnebe (Icheledikeora Awka), the former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly (ANHA).

During a poignant valedictory session organized by the Assembly, the APGA National Chairman paid tribute to Hon. Nnebe's unwavering commitment to Nigeria, Anambra State, and Awka community, honoring his steadfast loyalty and significant contributions to APGA.


In his address, Barr. Ezeokenwa underscored Hon. Nnebe’s exceptional allegiance and consistent support for APGA during his tenure as Speaker. "Hon. Nnebe's commitment to the well-being of Ndi Anambra and the APGA ideology, coupled with his fervent championing of the interests of Nigeria's populace, has indelibly shaped the regional political terrain."


Describing the demise not merely as a profound loss for the party and Anambra State but also as a personal one, Barr. Ezeokenwa extended sincere condolences and words of comfort to the bereaved family, the Government and people of Anambra State, as well as the Anambra State House of Assembly.


Representing Governor Chukwuma Soludo CFR and the National Leader of APGA, the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, shared, "It is with a heavy heart that I stand before you today on behalf of Governor Chukwuma Soludo to pay tribute to the late Rt Hon. Anayo Nnebe. His unwavering dedication to Anambra State and the ideals of APGA, and his tireless service to the people of Anambra State will forever be remembered. May his legacy inspire us all to strive for excellence and selfless leadership."

Speaking on behalf of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Speaker Rt Hon. Sir Somtochukwu Nkemakonam Udeze expressed, "As we gather here today to honor the life and contributions of Rt Hon. Anayo Nnebe, we echo the sentiments of all those whose lives he touched with his wisdom and kindness. His leadership in the Anambra State House of Assembly set a standard of excellence that we all aspire to uphold. May his memory continue to guide us as we navigate the complexities of governance and public service."
