 APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN MOURNS THE PASSING OF IGWE SIR DR. KRIS CHINEDUM ONYEKWULUJE (EZE NYA-1, IGWE UMUNYA)

Umunya, Anambra - The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, today extended his deepest condolences to the family of Igwe Sir Dr. Kris Chinedum Onyekwuluje and the Umunya Traditional Council on the departure of the esteemed Igwe Sir Dr. Kris Chinedum Onyekwuluje (Eze nya-1, Igwe Umunya).


Barr. Ezeokenwa, accompanied by his entourage, APGA members, supporters, and notable community leaders, paid homage to the legacy of Igwe Onyekwuluje at the funeral ceremony. The APGA National Chairman highlighted the significant impact of Igwe Onyekwuluje’s leadership and his unwavering dedication to the welfare of his people. "Today, we mourn the loss of a great leader and a visionary, whose life and reign brought forth progress and unity to Umunya," stated Barr. Ezeokenwa.


The funeral service was attended by a large number of dignitaries including the Senator Representing Anambra South, Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah, Sen. Uche Ekwunife, Dr. Ubanese Igbeke, Traditional rulers, Industry captains, Religious Leaders, and a host of other dignitaries and personalities who gathered to bid their final farewells to Igwe Sir Dr. Kris Chinedum Onyekwuluje. The atmosphere, while somber, reflected the deep admiration and respect for Igwe Onyekwuluje’s contributions to society.

Barr. Ezeokenwa reassured the Umunya community of APGA's unwavering support and commitment to upholding the values and initiatives championed by Igwe Onyekwuluje in Umunya. "As we bid him farewell, let us remember and strive to continue his legacy of service and commitment to the betterment of our community," he added.

The funeral proceedings, conducted with full respect for Umunya traditions, provided a poignant moment for community members to come together in prayers and communal solidarity as Igwe Onyekwuluje was laid to rest.



This somber event marks more than the end of an era; it galvanizes the community's resolve to honor their late leader by furthering his aspirations for Umunya.
